Pet question for Anet devs. - Guild Wars Forums

Honestly, why did you make uncharmeable friendly creatures?

THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO WOULD LIKE FERN LIZARDS OR MOSS SPIDERS AS PETS!

I just wasted a entire day of my time making a brand new ranger and try everything I could to try and tame a spider... and the fern lizards arent even in the northlands anymore... ITS ALL WARTHOGS, TONS OF THEM!

Now from one source I heard, moss spiders were tameable IN THE BETA... if so then why change it? It's a good idea and it makes your customers HAPPY.

I am just one of the many people who made another character solely on the purpose to tame one of those spiders, just to have it shot down, i am just about to delete my new ranger character because of it.

I dont wanna spend 100+ hours getting through almost the whole game and ascending just to get some cliche black widow in UW, not to mention how incredibly hard it is to get anyways.

I could care less that he isnt black colored or is not as strong as a black widow even at 20th level, just give us our lizards and spiders!

Edit: Oh and how I know many people want this? There are countless threads of this on this site forum alone, and I did yahoo searches and google searches and found it on other forums as well.

Umm....the black widow in UW is not hard to get.

But do you want to spend the countless hours going through the game just for this little cliche widow?

we already have a spider in pre-sear, lets make it tameable people!

I want a button that unlocks every skill in the game.

We don't always get what we want.

Besides, pets suck.

The black widow is cliche because it's the best pet in the game, not only for it's looks.

You make a char to tame something but not play the game? I don't get it.

But why make something there and not tameable?

If it was tameable before and now is no longer accessible... why do it?

I could care less for skills besides charm animal, I already went through the game, and like most people who beat a game, we just want to play around now and have fun with it, not go through the entire game to get one little detail.

One bad but still an example would be san andreas... in the last mission you could get an fbi blue style tank, though i didnt think about it, i just did the mission and hoped I would find it again, but the truth is you cant. I would like to have that, but I wont play the entire week straight like I did before to get to that point.

As to say this to Anet devs, please just remove the darn green friendly spiders if your not going to make them tameable, it will just make more people write about it, not to mention it teases us.
